Phone interview by a junior high school

We received a phone interview about Rally Hokkaido by a junior high school located in the vicinity of the event area, as a part of their studues. While it was a short conversation, we were happy to answer their questions. We hope it was some help to their study.
Among their questions there was a one something like:
“Is there anything we junior high school students can do, to help Rally Hokkaido to continue in the future?”
Great question for our future!
Our answer to that question was :
“Please wave your hands and cheer up competitors along the liaison course”
Competitors say they are really glad to receive such encouragement, more than you think, and it surely energize them. So, we would like to kindly ask you, not only the people in host area but also to visiting spectotors, to wave your hands to cheer up the crew when you see them along the road. I am sure they will be really glad to see that!
