Good morning from Media Centre!
Current temp at the Rally HQ is 14 degrees in Celsius, with beautiful sun shining in the blue sky.
Today, we are going to have action-packed busy day for the prep of the rally starting tomorrow. The Rally HQ and Media Centre has been open since 8am today, and stages are open for recce from 9am.
At the same time, our scrutineering team will be waiting for rally cars at Super Pit Chuo Ten for scrutiny of the rally cars. For detailed scrutineering schedule, please refer to the COMMUNICATION NO.1.

The first person shown up to the Rally HQ this morning was Mr. Kodera, CRO of the event. CRO is a unique role for rally, which has headquarters and place of competition (special stages) are usually far apart. CRO acts as a bridge to relay inquiries and requests from the competitors to the COC (Clerk of the Course) and/or to the Stewards.
We have two CRO for the Rally Hokkaido – Mr. Kodera and Mr. Peter Macneall, both quite busy travelling the Tokachi region along with the rally crews and make them available for the crews at any time during the rally week.
Please cheer them up when you see cars with “CRO” door stickers on it, or saw guys wearing yellow “COMPETITORS RELATIONS OFFICER” tabard.
