Crews on Recce
Top drivers say recce is no less important than the rally itself to win a rally- and the crews are busy doing recce today, throughout the Tokachi sub-region today. They will finish for the today’s portion of recce at 1800 local time, and will conduct the rest tomorrow morning.
Administrative Checks
The Wednesday of the rally week is the day for administrative checks for competitors, as well as the opening day of the Media Centre. Rally HQ, which is right next to our Media Centre, received visits of crews and teams for their checks. We saw very popular drivers such as Mike Young and Sanjay Takale came with their co-drivers and completed the process.
Tomorrow will be the day for car scrutineerings and recce, and thus it will be a first big day for the crews and their teams, and they will finish a day with a warm welcome with a big welcome party, by the enthusiastic local citizens. Stay tuned, as we will provide more news here in this website.

9/20 (TUE) at Kita-Aikoku Service Park
On the second day of the rally week, more and more teams and their cars arrived at Kita Aikoku Service Park. One of them has a foreign license plate – is it a recce car of Sri Lanka team?
One of the team had mechanics already working till late, with their lights on.
Tomorrow, more and more actions and preps will take place for the rally in the weekend – teams will be checking in for administrative checks, and scrutineering schedule will be published. The scrutineering will be held at Super Pit Chuo-ten, W8 S9 in Obihiro City, and it is available for free viewing for public. Why don’t you check the schedule of your favorite rally car, and visit the scrutineering place?

Hooray! The rally week has began!
The service park was opened at 9am for teams to bring in their containers and equipment, and both of the big 2 teams representing the APRC – Team MRF and Cusco Racing – are already busy preparing the service facility and servicing their cars.
More and more cars and teams will be arriving tomorrow – and we will keep you updated of the progress of the rally here in this website. Please stay tuned with us!
