Obtaining driving permit to compete in Rally Hokkaido
As APRC announced in its press release issued on December 28, 2013, rally cars built per CAMS (Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd) G2 regulations are now eligible to compete in Rally Hokkaido without the need for detailed homologation documents.
This will allow competitors to drive two-wheel drive CAMS G2 cars, which is equivalentto FIA R3 cars, but without extensive homologation process. This change, together with addition of JAF RJ cars, will open doors of Rally Hokkaido to wider variety of cars.
